Why are my brownies not fudgy?

Fudgy brownies consist of a higher butter and chocolate ratio as compared to a more caky brownie that has more flour.  If you brownies are not fudgy add in more chocolate chips for this recipe

What kind of chocolate chips should I use?

For this recipe I used semi-sweet chocolate chips, but you can use dark chocolate, white chocolate or cacao chips.  It is completely up to you.

Can you use parchment paper instead of cooking spray?

Yes, you can use parchment paper (which I often like to use), but it does add an additional cost and can be pricy.  So using cooking spray works just as good as parchment paper.  I will leave that decision up to you, the baker.
