Brownies are one of the most loved treats there is, so I would feel selfish if I didn’t share these chocolate dipped peppermint brownies and peppermint patty stuffed brownies for you to enjoy.

Brownies are one of the most loved treats you can make.
They absolutely disappear when I make them at my house.
Kids young and old can’t get enough of that chocolate goodness that comes with each bite of a moist, delicious brownie.
These Christmas brownies are all the gooey chocolate you love and frosted with a creamy white chocolate eggnog frosting that you don’t want to miss.
It’s like Christmas wrapped up in a holiday treat bite after bite.
Making brownies is one of my favorite desserts, but if you want to set another yummy treat out for your guest to snack on while mingling and enjoying themselves this white chocolate chex mix will be just what you need.
What makes brownies fudgy?
Fudgy brownies have a higher fat content such as butter and/or chocolate which gives them that nice decadent fudgy taste.
How to make brownies easy?
Making brownies can be one of the quickest treats to whip up, especially when you use a prepared mix.
I know making them from scratch is great, but when in a hurry you can’t beat some of the prepared mixes.
Ingredients for Christmas brownies
- 1 box brownie mix, made according to package directions.
Ingredients for eggnog frosting
- eggnog
- butter
- sugar
- salt
- white chocolate chips
- rum extract
- ground cinnamon
How to make Christmas brownies
- Preheat oven to 325 for dark coated pan or 350 for metal or glass pan. Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper and make brownie batter according to package directions. Bake for 45 minutes
- 10 minutes before brownies are done make the frosting. Add eggnog, sugar, butter, and salt into a heavy sauce pan and stir to combine. Let it come to a boil and cook for 35 seconds.
- Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips and rum extract. Stir until chocolate chips have melted and let cool for 3 min. Pour over WARM brownies. Allow to cool completely until cutting. Garnish with cinnamon.
How do I cut brownies cleanly?
Make sure to first let them cool completely.
Then using either a plastic knife or serrated knife you can make your cuts.
To be even more precise square cuts you can measure them with a ruler and dip the serrated knife into hot water or spray your knife with nonstick cooking spray.
How do you fix hard brownies?
If you have your brownies have hardened up after a couple days, you can place them in the microwave for 5 second intervals until they are soft to your liking. Make sure to eat right away or they will harden up again.
How do you keep brownies moist for days?
Make sure to store your brownies in an airtight container and keep at room temperature. You can also cut and freeze your brownies for up to 3 months.

Ingredients
- 1 box of your favorite brownie mix made and cooked according to package directions
- Eggnog Frosting:
- ½ cup eggnog

- 2-1/4 cups sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1-1/2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 tsp rum extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon for sprinkling on top
