Tips for the Best Brussels Sprouts

    • Use fresh Brussels sprouts: They roast better than frozen and stay tender inside.

    • Get golden edges: Don’t overcrowd the skillet—this helps them caramelize.

    • Switch up the cheese: Gruyère, mozzarella, or even pepper jack work well.

    • Make it spicy: Add a pinch of crushed red pepper for heat.

    • Meal prep tip: Assemble the dish ahead and refrigerate; bake right before serving.

As a result, you’ll have a side dish that’s crispy, cheesy, and irresistibly good—one that might just outshine the main course.

Storage & Reheating

  • Refrigerate: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

  • Reheat: Warm in the oven at 350°F until hot and bubbly.

  • Freeze: Not recommended—fresh is best for this dish’s texture.

In addition, these Brussels sprouts reheat beautifully, making them perfect for meal prep or next-day leftovers.
