Brussels sprouts, those adorable little mini cabbages just got an upgrade in flavor and taste with this brussels sprouts casserole loaded with cheese and topped with crispy bacon made in just 20 minutes.  This will be the perfect side dish for anyone on a low carb nutrition plan or not, and will be creamy and delicious.  Easy and quick to make from start to finish, this will make your brussels sprouts tender, creamy and ready to serve at your next party or family gathering.

How do you cook brussel sprouts in the oven?

  1.   2. Add in brussels sprouts and cook over medium high heat for 3 minutes until the brussels sprouts turn bright green.  Add in 1 tablespoon of minced garlic and stir to combine, then pour the bacon back into the skillet along with 1 teaspoon garlic salt and pepper and then pour the cream over and mix. Two images of brussels sprouts in a skillet.   3. Pour half the brussels sprouts mixture into an oven safe casserole dish and top with half the cheese.  Add remaining brussels sprouts and top with the rest of the cheese.  Place in a 400 degree oven to bake for 15 minutes until cheese is melted and brussels sprouts are tender. Two images on how to make brussels sprouts casserole. Ingredients

  • 4 cups Brussels sprouts sliced in half or left whole
  • 6 pieces of thick cut bacon chopped and cooked
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups grated Colby cheese divided
  • 2 cups grated Parmesan cheese divided
  • 2 cups grated Muenster cheese divided
  • Fresh chopped green onion and sage for garnish

Instructions
