Parmesan Garlic Greens Beans can be made with canned green beans to save a few minutes, but I recommend fresh green beans if you can.  Either way these garlic green beans will be quick, easy, and delicious.

What Can I Put On My Green Beans?

  • 4 cups fresh green beans, stems removed
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3 gloves garlic minced
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • bacon bits to taste

What is the best way to cook fresh green beans?

  • Wash and drain green beans.
  • Place beans in a large skillet or sauce pan and cover with water.
  • Bring water to a boil, then reduce heat to medium and let simmer until beans are tender, but still crisp about 5-6 minutes.
  • Drain beans and season with garlic butter.

How do you clean and cook fresh green beans?

  • Place fresh green beans in a large colander and wash with cool water.
  • Shake colander to release water and wash again.
  • Break off the stem of the green beans and place in a large skillet or sauce pan and cover with water.
  • Cook in boiling water for 5-6 minutes.

Parmesan Garlic Green Beans are buttery delicious and made with fresh green beans. They are the perfect side dish that will wow a crowd.
  • 4 cups frozen whole green beans
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • bacon bits to taste
  1. Clean and drain green beans. Remove stems and place in large skillet or sauce pan and cover with water.
  2. Bring water to a boil and then reduce heat to medium and let simmer for 5-6 minutes, until beans are tender and drain.
  3. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic; cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring frequently, until garlic is tender and fragrant.
  4. Place beans in a large serving dish and pour garlic butter over cooked green beans; stir to coat. Pour in cheese, garlic salt, and bacon bits. Stir to combine.
