Broccoli Cheese Casserole

Let’s be honest, cheese and bacon added to almost anything taste amazing, so this cheesy broccoli casserole topped with crispy bacon makes this the perfect side dish for all your holiday meals.  Not only does this broccoli casserole taste sensational it is also low carb, but no one will ever know with it layers of tender yet crips broccoli florets and 3 kinds of cheese melted to maintain all the cheesiness you can handle. 

How do you make broccoli cheese casserole?

  2. Add in broccoli and cook over medium high heat for 3 minutes until broccoli has turned bright green.  Add in 1 tablespoon of minced garlic and stir to combine, then pour the bacon back into the skillet along with 1 teaspoon garlic salt and pepper, and stir. Step two, making broccoli cheese casserole.   3. Pour broccoli mixture into an oven safe casserole dish, add in heavy cream and mix.  Add half the cheese and mix in with broccoli mixture then top with remaining cheese.  Place in a 400 degree oven and bake for 15 minutes until cheese is melted and broccoli is tender. Step three, making broccoli cheese casserole. Ingredients

  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 6 pieces of thick cut bacon chopped and cooked
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups grated Colby cheese divided
  • 2 cups grated Parmesan cheese divided
  • 2 cups grated Muenster cheese divided
  • Fresh chopped green onion and sage for garnish
