Ingredients for Balsamic Chicken and Mushrooms
- 4 thin sliced boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp chicken seasoning
- 4 tbsp butter, divided
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 8 oz baby bella mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 slices pepper jack cheese, halved
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
How to Make Cheesy Balsamic Chicken and Mushroom Skillet
- Season the chicken on both sides with garlic salt and chicken seasoning.
- Sear the chicken: In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tbsp butter. Add chicken and cook 5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and cover to keep warm.
- Sauté the veggies: Melt remaining butter in the same skillet. Add garlic, Italian seasoning, mushrooms, and onions. Sauté 3 minutes.
- Make the sauce: Add balsamic vinegar and Worcestershire. Stir and simmer for 1–2 minutes.
- Melt the cheese: Return chicken to the skillet, top each piece with 1/2 slice pepper jack, and cook on low until melted.
- Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and enjoy warm.

You can buy Johnny’s chicken seasoning, it actually says “chicken seasoning” on the container.
