  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken tenders
  • 12 pieces thick cut bacon
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp chili paste
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 12 wood skewers (soaked at least 20 minutes)
  • Lime wedges, for garnish (optional)

How to Make Honey Garlic Chicken Kabobs

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Thread each chicken tender onto a soaked skewer and wrap tightly with a piece of bacon.
  3. In a medium saucepan, whisk together soy sauce, chili paste, honey, brown sugar, garlic, lime juice, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring often. Remove from heat.
  4. Brush kabobs with the honey garlic sauce and place on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through and basting with more sauce.
  6. Set oven to broil and broil kabobs for 2–3 minutes until bacon is crisp.

      I would place them on a piece of foil and spray it with nonstick cooking spray and grill so the grease from the bacon doesn’t cause a fire.
