Bacon Ranch Deviled Eggs

No boil?  Yes you read that right.  If you don’t know by now I am all about simplicity, but delicious.  Make it look hard, taste amazing, but in reality it’s easy.  These bacon ranch deviled eggs are made with hidden valley ranch seasoning and topped with crispy bacon, some dill and chives which makes this recipe sensational.  My secret to ranch deviled egg simplicity is using Eggs-lands Best Hard Cooked Peeled Eggs.

They make your job so much less time consuming.  All you have to do is slice the hard cooked eggs in half and remove the yolks.  There is no worrying about cooking the eggs, waiting, peeling, and hoping the yolks come out solid.  But, by all means if you are a master at hard boiling eggs then go for it.

What goes in deviled eggs?

  • Bacon ranch deviled eggs are made with light mayonnaise, dry mustard, garlic salt, hidden valley ranch seasoning mix, pepper, egg yolks, bacon, chives, and dill.  They are very easy to make and are the perfect appetizer for all your tailgating or holiday parties.

How long are deviled eggs good for?

  • Once you have hard boiled an egg and peeled it, it allows bacteria to penetrate through the egg faster, therefore make sure to refrigerate your deviled eggs before serving them.
  • Also, due to the different ingredients that goes into making deviled eggs with ranch dressing and bacon they will not last as long as a regular hard boiled egg and should only be kept for 3 days in your refrigerator before they are not safe to eat any longer.

Can you make deviled eggs the day before?

  • Yes.  These ranch deviled eggs with bacon can be made up to 2 days before you will be serving them.  Simply keep the whites separated from the yolk mixture.
  • Store the yolk mixture in a airtight plastic bag in the refrigerator, this will also make it easy to fill the hard boiled whites when ready to serve.
  • Keep the hard boiled egg white halves wrapped in plastic wrap and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

How to make deviled eggs easy?

  1. Slice the hard boiled eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks and place in a medium sized bowl.
  2. Place egg halves on a serving platter and set aside.
  3. Mash egg yolks with a fork or potato masher and add in light mayonnaise, dry mustard, garlic salt, hidden valley ranch salad seasoning, and black pepper.  Mix to form a smooth consistency and place in a quart sized plastic bag.  Move all the filling to one corner, working out any air pockets and snip the end of the bag with scissors.
  4. Fill each egg half evenly with yolk filling and top with crispy chopped bacon, minced dill and chives, and sprinkle with paprika.

How do you make deviled eggs without mayo?

  • If you want to make bacon ranch deviled eggs without mayonnaise you can substitute greek yogurt, plain yogurt or sour cream into your recipe using the same measurement.

How long does it take for deviled eggs to boil?

If you want to boil your deviled eggs here is how to do so:

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water, making sure they are all fully covered by the water.
  2. Bring water to a boil over medium-high heat and cover with a lid.
  3. Remove from the heat, leaving the lid on and let sit for 8-10 minutes.
  4. Remove lid, drain the water and allow to cool in an ice bath for 5 minutes.
  5. Peel and they are ready to use.

Ingredients

  • 24 bags Egg-Lands Best Hard Cooked Peeled Eggs sliced in half lengthwise, yolks removed and reserved.
  • ½ cup light mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp Hidden Valley Ranch salad seasoning
  • ½ tsp dry mustard
  • 1/8 tsp garlic salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 piece bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tbsp chives minced
  • 1 tbsp dill minced
  • paprika to garnish
  • 1 quart sized plastic sandwich bag

Instructions

Place all yolks in a large bowl and mash with a fork or potato masher. Add all ingredients up to black pepper and mix into a smooth consistency.

    Place yolk mixture into plastic bag and push to one corner, working out any air pockets. Snip off the end of bag just enough to allow mixture to flow out smoothly when squeezed. Fill each eggs half evenly with mixture and top with bacon, chives, dill, and sprinkle with paprika. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
