Easy Beef Stir Fry with Snow Peas

I love to stir fry and the list for what to add to your stir fry runs long and can be adjusted to your families likes and dislikes. For this beef stir fry I used snow peas and threw in some sliced mushrooms to add a little crunch and texture.

How to make beef stir fry?
- In a small bowl whisk together stir fry seasoning: soy sauce, sugar, water, and cornstarch.
- Remove 1/2 cup and pour into a larger bowl along with sesame oil, ground ginger, and garlic. Add beef to sauce and mix to coat. (allow to marinate for 15 minutes-optional)
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat add beef and stir fry for 5-6 minutes, until no longer pink. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet add oil, mushrooms and onions. Saute for 2-3 minutes. Add in snow peas and remaining sauce mixture bring to a boil to thicken, then reduce heat.
- Add beef back to skillet, mix and cook until heated through. Garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, and red pepper flakes.

If you would rather use ground beef for your stir fry it is very simple. Add your ground beef to a skillet over medium high heat and cook until no longer pink. Drain any fat. Remove the ground beef from skillet and add in your vegetables and sauce, cook until vegetables are tender. Add ground beef back to skillet and mix to blend all ingredients.

- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp garlic minced
- ½ cup low sodium soy sauce
- ½ cup water
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
