Don’t for one second think that crock pots only make dinner meals, they don’t!  Making these Peanut Clusters in the crock pot was super easy and takes little hands on time to make.  If you love chocolate you are going to indulge in each rich and dreamy bite.  These Crock Pot Chocolate Peanut Clusters are made with three different chocolate flavors and three types of nuts.  So you can say these are loaded with chocolate peanut deliciousness.

These are great to make for little gifts for family and friends or just for a sweet snack, cause let’s me honest, we all need something sweet in our lives every once in a while.  Peanut Clusters can be put in the freezer if you want to make them ahead for a party or fun event.  So remember, crock pots are not just for soups, slow cooked meals, or Sunday roasts, they are amazing for desserts and know better way to start than with these Peanut Clusters.

How do you make Crock Pot Peanut Clusters?

  • In a 4 quart slow cooker place all the chocolate and the salted and unsalted peanuts.
  • Cover and cook on low for 1 hour.
  • Stir the chocolate and peanuts until well combined and add in cashews.  Mix again and then use a cookie scoop to drop nut clusters onto parchment paper lined cookie sheets and let set for about 45 minutes.
  • Melts white chocolate and butterscotch chips in separate microwave safe bowls until melted.
  • Place the melted chocolate into separate zip lock bags and squeeze to a corner.  Cut the tip off the corner slightly and pipe over the peanut clusters.  Let harden (about 30 minutes).

How do you make Peanut Clusters on the stove?

Peanut clusters can be made on the stove top as well.

  • In a large saucepan over low heat melt the chocolate, stirring frequently.
  • Let cool for approximately 10 minutes and then pour in all the nuts.
  • Stir well to combined and drop clusters by spoonful or using a cookie scooper on parchment paper lined cookie sheets.
  • Let set and harden for 1 hour.

Crock Pot Chocolate Peanut Clusters

Crock Pot Chocolate Peanut Clusters are an easy and delicious way to do a chocolatey peanut sweet treat.

Ingredients:

  • 1-16oz Chocolate flavor candy coating
  • 1-16oz Vanilla flavor candy coating
  • 1-6.8oz Hershey’s Symphony bar  (or favorite bar of choice)
  • 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1-jar (16oz) dry roasted unsalted peanuts
  • 1-jar (16oz) dry roasted salted peanuts
  • 1-container (9.75oz) salted cashews
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

For topping:

  • 1 bag white chocolate chips
  • 1 bag butterscotch chips
  • 2 zip lock plastic bags for piping

Directions:

  1. In a 4 quart crock pot or larger add the candy coating, candy bar, semi-sweet chocolate chips, dry roasted unsalted and salted peanuts.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours.
  3. Mix to combine, and add in cashews and vanilla, mix again.
  4. Drop by spoonful or using a cookie scoop on parchment paper lined cookie sheets.
  5. Allow to set for 1 hour.

For Topping:

  1. Melt white chocolate and butterscotch chips in separate microwave safe bowls until melted (about 45 seconds).
  2. Place melted chocolate in separate zip lock plastic bags and push melted chocolate to one corner.  Cut the corner off slightly and pipe melted chocolate over the top of each peanut clusters.  Allow to cool about 30 minutes more.
