Baked Shrimp Toast

Shrimp toast has all the makings of the most amazing appetizer or side dish, full of fresh shrimp mixed with robust flavors and baked to perfection every time.

Ingredients

  • 1/2- pound shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp butter divided
  • 1 large bread loaf or ciabatta
  • 2 tsp old bay seasoning
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup green onions chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup stuffing mix or breadcrumbs ground
  • 1 lemon sliced

Instructions

  • Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
  • Slice your bread loaf in half lengthwise and set aside on a rimmed baking sheet. Chop shrimp up into small pieces and squeeze about 2 tsp of lemon over and mix.
  • In a large bowl add all the ingredients together, except 1 tbsp of butter and the stuffing mix.
  • Spread the cheesy shrimp mixture evenly on both pieces of bread. In a small bowl melt remaining tbsp of butter and pour over stuffing mix. Stir to combine and sprinkle over the top of each piece of bread. Bake for 20 minutes and serve with additional lemon slices.
