Honey Garlic Chicken

  • 1 cast iron skillet

Ingredients

  • 6 chicken thighs boneless, skinless
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Himalayan sea salt

Sauce

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp franks hot sauce or hot sauce of choice
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup chopped parley
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Instructions

  • In a large bowl add paprika, garlic salt, pepper, onion powder, and salt, mix to combine and add in chicken thighs. Toss to coat.
  • Place butter in skillet over med-low heat and let melt. Add in chickent highs and cook 8-10 minutes each side, or until cooked through.
  • Remove chicken from skillet and place on a plateand set aside.
  • Add in all the sauce ingredients to the skillet (leave chicken juices in skillet) and mix to combine. Don't get heat to hot or sauce will burn.
  • Add chicken thighs back to skillet and coat each side in the sauce. Allow chicken to warm back up and serve.
  • Can be served over rice, along side green beans, broccoli, or pasta.
