Peanut Butter Cookies
I often hear a lot of murmuring about “not liking to bake,” and I get it, it takes some time and attention to detail and wondering if your baked good is going to turn out like it does in your mind. That happens to me all the time. I envision something amazing and perfect and then my result ends up being less than desirable, but still delicious to eat.
Have know fear you are not alone, it happens to all of us whether we want to admit it or not. But today I brought a little fun into my kitchen with these Snickers Peanut Butter Cookies. There is just something to smile about when you add a sweet little treat to an already sweet little taste of yum. Plus, they were fun to make and the yummy peanut butter aroma was pretty mouthwatering too.
Adding a classic candy bar, like a snickers to your cookies is such a fun idea and then drizzling them with just a little bit of icing is the cherry right on top. Peanut Butter Cookies are some of my favorite to make and I love how these cookies have a crackle appearance, just enough to allow the snickers to peek through. I promise, you will bring a little spark back into your baking life by making these soft and gooey Snickers Peanut Butter Cookies.

- Remove from oven and using a fork press down on the center of the cookies to flatten them a bit. This will give them the crackle appearance (optional).
- Let cool on a wire rack.
- For the icing mix: powdered sugar, milk and cocoa.
- Place in a ziplock back and cut one tip off the end. Drizzle the icing over the cookies.
Why do you make fork marks on Peanut Butter cookies?
- Peanut Butter makes things more dense, making it harder to bake evenly. By using a fork to make the marks on the cookie it helps to flatten them for more even baking.
