Bacon Wrapped Scallops
Bacon Wrapped Scallops! One little bite of deliciousness wrapped in bacon, which is crispy on the outside and soft and tender on the inside, topped off with a warm creamy sauce. Perfect for any party.

Servings 20 scallops
- 1 lb bag large frozen scallops thawed
- 10 pieces classic cut bacon cut in half
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp old bay seasoning
FOR THE CREAM SAUCE:
- 5 pieces of bacon finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp old bay seasoning
- garlic salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green onions diced
Rinse and dry scallops with a paper towel.
Season all sides with garlic salt, pepper, and old bay seasoning.
Using 10 pieces of bacon, cut the bacon in half and wrap each scallop around the outside securing with a toothpick (optional).
Heat a skillet to medium high heat and add olive oil. Allow the olive oil to warm up for a minute and then add in scallops. Cook for 4 minutes and then flip, cooking an additional 4 minutes. Making sure the bacon is cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In same skillet cook chopped bacon, remove and set aside. Add butter, garlic, cream and old bay seasoning. Whisk to combine. Add in parmesan cheese and let come to a light boil. Reduce heat add in cooked chopped bacon and simmer until slightly thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
Add the scallops back, cook for about 2 minutes so scallops get warm and spoon some of the sauce over the top. Garnish with diced green onions and serve.
