  • Stock Pot


  • 2-15 oz packages of refrigerated cooked beef tips in gravy
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 6 cups low sodium beef broth
  • 3 medium potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 3 carrots peeled and diced
  • 2 stalks of celery diced
  • 3/4 cup pearl barley
  • 1/2 cup frozen corn
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup frozen green beans
  • 1 tsp dry onion soup mix
  • Fresh rosemary for garnishing


  • In a large stockpot add oil and sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
  • Add in beef broth, tomato paste, celery, carrots, barley, dry onion soup mix, and potatoes. Cover and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.
  • Add frozen peas, corn and beans. Cover and cook an additional 20 minutes. Uncover, stir and let simmer 5 minutes until soup thickens slightly. Garnish with fresh rosemary.
