Sweet and Sour Pork

Sweet and Sour Pork is an amazing stir fry that is easy to make and bursting with flavor. Made in 20 minutes and can be served over rice or noodles, you and your family will love each and every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 LB pork tenderloin cut into cubes
  • 1 20 oz can pineapple chunks drained
  • 1 green pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 red pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • ½ tsp garlic salt and pepper

For the Sweet and sour sauce:

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • ½ cup pineapple juice
  • ¼ cup seasoned rice vinegar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp lite soy sauce

Instructions

  • In a wok or large skillet add 2 tablespoons of canola oil over medium high heat. Add in sliced pork tenderloin, season with garlic salt and pepper and cook until no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Remove pork from skillet and set aside. In medium bowl combine ingredients for sweet and sour sauce and set aside.
  • In the same skillet over medium high heat add onions, peppers, and pineapple chunks, sauté 2-3 minutes. Pour in sweet and sour sauce and bring to a boil. Allow sauce to thicken then add the pork back into the wok. Toss to combine and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
