Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz elbow macaroni uncooked
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 3 cups beef or vegetable broth
  • 4 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tsp steak seasoning
  • 2 tsp ground mustard
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese divided
  • green onions diced for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • In a large skillet cook ground beef and diced onions until beef is no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
  • Add in uncooked macaroni, milk, broth, ketchup, steak seasoning, ground mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese.
  • Bring it a boil, uncovered and reduce heat. Let simmer 15 minutes until macaroni is tender. Stir in remaining cheese and garnish with diced green onions.
